This water shader renders a calm lake with gently animated waves whose height you can adjust in real time. An ice amount control blends in a gradient-noise ice mask that prefers the shoreline, naturally creeping outward as you increase coverage until the surface becomes fully frozen. As ice grows, wave motion is progressively damped for stability, giving you art-directable transitions from open water to a glassy, winter lake—perfect for stylized environments.
